Actually did a pre-season with the Dawks. They didn't pick him up.ad4eva wrote:most definetly not.Dave The Man wrote:Wasn't Goldsack at Hawthorn Last Year!
he was playing his final year in the TAC cup for Gipsland Power.
He was overlooked the year Thomas and Pendlebury got drafted and was lucky to get picked up

Seriously, a player in our team can just not afford to get injured because the minute it happens, a new kid is coming along and showing a lot. The most pleasing thing is that we have covered our spine with ease.
Our spine of the last 5 years has been:
Presti
Clement
Buckley
Rocca
Tarrant
With all 5 of these guys missing, we still managed to beat an inform st kilda team and take it right up to hawthorn who are red hot.

There's more to life than footy.........just not much more.

Guys, lets not forget there is a kid called John Anthony who would have been ahead of the Goldsacks and Obrians of this world this year.OEP wrote:Super impressed with this young man.
When all our defenders return Collingwood could possibly have one of the most devastating backlines in the AFL.
Clement
Goldsack
O'Brien
Maxwell
H Shaw
R Shaw
Presti
It's a fairly impressive list of talented players.
Also young Brown , although poor on the weekend will be groomed and developed...
