The problem is that there's 3 of the bastards and they're all trying to get their share of the glory. So that's 3 times as many bad decisions.

The game is over-umpired. Go back to one umpire. Even if it means reducing the size of the playing field and reducing the number of players on each team. One umpire means you're getting one person's interpretation. And only one lot of bullshit decisions instead of three.
