NEWSFLASH

Kangas make $4.95 profit at chocolate crackle sale.

Greg Miller CEO for the embattled Roos said at a press conference today that the club was delighted with the results of the sale and that the profits from the sale would be applied to paying past player wages.

Noel Teasdale has presented his 1965 payslips and said he is still owed 20 pounds plus a Del Monti suit promised him by Ron Joseph if he got top three in the Brownlow.

Bernie McCarthy was promised a spare tyre for his EH Holden. Still waiting.

Ian Farley is still waiting on the pump promised for his postman's bike.

When reminded of the outstanding debts due to these players Miller said they would all have to learn to be patient but that they would be paid in good time.

Many more choclate crackle sales were being planned as he spoke, and he said further that the club was trying to set up a chocolate crackle network around Australia so as to set up a new cash stream for the club.

In ending the press conference, Miller pleaded with all Roo supporters to get behind the club and buy their chocolate crackles now before the team was confined to the halls of mothers club fete legend.
