I actually thought his first term was a decent improvement on recent weeks. He was one of the few to try and get the engine started with his run and carry.
I'll agree, he's been short of his best todate this year, but still done enough on a weekly basis. I haven't noticed him starting onball at all since round one, however. Something in that, or nothing at all?

In the past he used to get away from sticky situations, now he gets caught every time. He is terrible in a tackle. He doesnt get the hands free and the ball spills free, and the ump pins him everytime.
But as jonno said, atleast he was trying to take the game on.
I would not be making big personnel changes this week against the blues because we need to see which players will bounce back after that humiliation. Jonno is a leader of the club and should be given every chance possible to get his form back before finals

Bingo - keep travelling down from the dreaded OP region - the groin - to the region of the ankle and you may well find the source of the problem me thinks!~Madness~ wrote:Something is just not right with Johnno. Then we should get him off and get it right if there is an injury. It can't be doing his confidence any good. I saw a few backies yesterday play 3 pretty good quarters. I am sure there is someone who can come in for him... get him out and right for September...Morrigu wrote:Bingo - keep travelling down from the dreaded OP region - the groin - to the region of the ankle and you may well find the source of the problem me thinks!~Madness~ wrote:Something is just not right with Johnno. That wont help.virgomag wrote:It's the constant fumbles/turnovers. Put him in Willi to get his skills up to scratch of an AFL player.
Frankston was desert with no grass and Burbank is a mud wrestle.
No skills can be refined in the VFL on grounds that are nothing like AFL grounds.
