Nothing wrong with hanging them up in the pool room. I've got all my Collingwood memorabilia in the pool room.

If she witch keeps beguilling your dad you may have to take matters into your own hands.

magpiesgirl reminded me of one that pisses me off...(no not about you and your 1 day off)

People who don't come to work...!!!!!!!!!!

how many times can one person get sick in a year? I know two staff, their total time off through illness is 144 days. What the hell is up with that? Would their doctor be saying "oh good lord not them again"? 1 has had 9 different illness' recently. I'm not talking about major illness', im talking generall stuff, flu, cold, gastro...blah blah Do people honestly get that sick every year? I know I don't.

Doesnt bother me if you were to have a go at me over having a day off!

144 days out of 365 is alot for 2 people!I think their doctor would be rubbing his hands together thinking good stuff my cash cow has just walked in again!

Couple of things to look for:

1. Are they all single days or max 2-3 days at a time
2. Is there a pattern? eg. Day after payday; Mondays and/or Fridays
3. Do they see the same doctor/go to the same clinic or do they doctor shop
4. Are there reasons other than the usual "medical condition" and if so, are the reasons related. (A number of different things could have a common source)
5. Do they have family responsibilities that they may choose to use sick leave for.

Basically, people get sick. if they are legitimately ill and have an ongoing illness then they deserve support. If they are dodging work because they can and relying on doctor howlong to give them time off whenever they want it then maybe it's time for them to move on.

Yep people get sick..I know that...

if some of these people worked in private enterprise, I'd bet they wouldn't have jobs.

Lowly teams (like Richmond & Melbourne) who treat playing us as their Grand Final. They always seem to lift and play above themselves either robbing us of %age or the win.
How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say?

people who apply for a management job with 5-7 operational management experience are overlooked for somewhat who has 6 mths experience but just happens to be a cousin of one of the GMs.

people who leave you a voicemail message and ask you to call you back but say their own phone number really, really fast. so you have to go back and listen to their message four times to work out what number you're supposed to call.

I'm with you on the voice mail message noddy. That really anoys me. The other one that pisses me off with voicemail is people who don't leave a message but wait until your voice recording is finished, the beep goes to leave a message and you hear "scuffle, scuffle scuffle click" as the inbred moron gets around to hanging up.

FFS, I went as far on my voice recording as leaving a 5 second gap between the end of my recording and the beep. Is my voice so alluring that you can't help but listen to the message then take 10 seconds to shake yourself out of the trance before deciding not to leave a message and therefore leaving me a message of how you sound trying to guess how to hang up a phone?
