Is Mal Michael tradebait???
just saw on the news last night of some trades invovling Mal Michael
to Richmond for Nick Daffy and a draft pick
or to WB for the other Dimatina and Plunkett
surely this won't happen, Mal is better than Dimattina and Plunkett, and Daffy is too concerned about his hair....
SO IS THIS HAPPENING OR NOT?

the rumours are true but i dont think it is really a case of the pies wanting to trade him it is more that he is asking a lot more money than he is currently on and wont sign a new contract. all we can do is trade him to ensure we get something otherwise he will walk away scot free in the preseason draft as a out of contract player
I say if Mal isnt going to be reasonable and just sign a deal, I say let him go.. I love him dont get me wrong, but if he dosnt want ot stay at the best club in the world and only after money then let him go its not worth worrying about.. I know he is a grea player and all and I love him, but we cant just let him walk all over us....

Mal should be kept he is easily one of our best players along with Buckley. This is the time when we see whether players are really loyal. Look at bloody Leigh Colbert. Sometimes u gotta look at whether the club is treateing them like shit or not though. Didn't they have Mal on next to nothing when he came though so he's probably just had enough which i guess is fair enough.

Bradshaw ahhhhh Danny will STAR in chicks channel as for his footballing ability well sorre but i have hardly seen him play! Should turn in to a better player with us though if he actually comes to Pieland like our other ex Brissys have! N E 1 reckon they might wanna get rid of him coz of how he chose his chick over playing in a final? Just wondering coz it seems the many players who are said to be leaving have been involved in some sort of off field controversy.

Don't worry about Michael going anywhere besides Brisbane.
That is why he wanted to leave collingwood in the first
I don't want to get rid of him under any circumstances.
He is to good in the forward line backline, he is one of those developed players which can play in a number of positions.
MALTHOUSE TRY TO SAVE HIM!

I can't understand them unloading Mal Michael. He is one of our few developed players and is flexible enough to play in various spots. As for Molloy (we won't get Bradshaw), they would only pick him up to make Neil Balme look skinnier. Molloy can play, but he carries some kilo's which will limit his long-term future.

mal has asked for $350 000 . 00 a season and i dont think he is in that class just yet. how many games did he win for us this year. other than late in the bulldog game his contribution was nothing more than serviceable. jared molloy has lost a lot of weight. at the beginning of the season he was some 8-9 kilos lighter than he had ever been. with bradshaw coming on this year and brisbane having defeciances at the back molloy was switched to a defencive roll and did quite well. he is also very fearless and likes to put himself about. he has defenders looking over their shoulders when taking marks because they know he is around, he strikes fear into them and we have not had a player like that since the great MILLANE
