We Will Now Get Gehrig For Sure!
Moderator: bbmods
St Kilda are still in the hunt as they have first selection in the February draft. They have picked up Lawrence as a swap for selections in the November draft (or whenever it is this year). We want St Kilda to secure a player in the February draft so we can pick up Gehrig without having to deal with West Coast at all!!

As WOODSMEN ppointed out, magpiera, your logic is quite twisted on this one. It's only the pre-season draft that we can secure Gehrig with no trading, & the Saints still have No 1 pick there.
As for the non-calulation of poultry, Gehrig had lunch with MM & Eddie on Thursday....at least the egg seems to be in the correct place for hatching - just have to convince mother-hen for the trade.

On the AFL page it was reported. "In other pre-draft trade news, St Kilda was poised to announce early next week it had secured Fraser Gehrig from West Coast.
Gehrig was in Melbourne and was understood to have accepted the Saints' offer ahead of Collingwood."
So the pendulum swings again.
Collingwood needs to act fast or another trade period goes with us further entering the red (going backwards)

I believe Gherig has said that he will play with the Saints. However I'm not totally cetain about this. I am under the impression that he said he is NOT totally committed to a deal with Collingwood and the deal with St.Kilda is on the cards.
