people please understand mckee, watson and co are not good enough for trade bait, if you trade poor platers you will only get poor players. nobody wants them we have to give a little to get something decent in return.....

We may not be able to use those players as trade bait, but magpiera's logic on the player choices from Elliotsville is spot on. I mentioned Manton in a wishlist of trades at the end of 99. He's had big personality clashes with Parkin, but I don't know if the Brittain deal makes him feel better / worse.

In other news, Gehrig had lunch with MM & Eddie on Thursday....not a bad omen.

I like Manton (for some reason). But is he really that good a footballer? I'm not sure. He seemed to be on Carlton's bench alot.
