It has been brought to my attention that an official complaint has been lodged by the Security personnel at Colonial Stadium against the Collingwood Official Cheer Squad for excessive noise during the Collingwood-Fremantle match.

As a proud member of the Cheer Squad, I am shocked and dismayed that certain raucous elements in our midst could have resorted to such un-Australian behaviour. Fancy making NOISE at the football!!! Whatever next???

I trust that in future, the Cheer Squad will take steps to reform its unruly behaviour. We simply can't allow football crowds to become noisy. The stockbrokers in the Medallion Club might get distracted from the share price fluctuations on their laptops.

Personally, I think Joffa is to blame. The Cheer Squad was perfectly behaved before he came along. You could have heard a pin drop back in those halcyon days. Nothing so vulgar as noise was ever uttered from the collective lips of last year's Cheer Squad.

This matter is expected to be heard before the High Court in the near future.

though seriously what a ridiculous complaint! and WHO exactly did they complain to??? and were they told to bugger off and not be so bloody petty? i believe this is all the more incentive to make MORE noise!!!
