We recently celebrated a brand new year... and with that we put behind a wonderful season that I, and I'm sure so many of you will never forget.

What I would like to forget though are some of the goings-on that happened in this forum... the Collingwood supporter base is too special to be affected by such things. What I would love love love to see, and it may only be a dream, is a totally fresh start - beginning at the cheersquad meeting. I would love to see the cheersquad as a totally committed force to providing optimum VOLUME and cheers at every match. And at the same time have everyone sit altogether - for words that were spoken to be forgotten and for us to all use our wonderful differences into something wonderfully amazing.

We all barrack for Collingwood. We all love Collingwood. We all support Collingwood. It is time to put our energies into our one common interest and make the Cheersquad a force to be reckoned with within the whole league, not our own circles. Image

Was it a new cheersquad rule that all guys have to be topless and carry watermelons? *ducks*

But seriously, we have so much to look forward to this season - both on and off the field - and I think it would be truly wonderful for everyone to experience this together. Or with some sense of togetherness. Life is much to short to think otherwise! Image
