magpie_russ whoever the hell u r - i actually don't think of Mal in that way but even if i did i wouldnt say to keep a player just coz of that cause i would rather see my boys win a flag rather than be there just 2 impress us chicks.

I really think we have gone into the red this week also.
Lost 2 of our top 5 players. Don't get me wrong Williams needed to go, and if Mal wanted that money then ...
Gained Brodie Holland, which i believe shows hope. Don't think he will ever be as good as Williams though. James Clement, don't think will be much. May be able to slot into our shortish backline however. Jarrod Molloy is equal to if not better than Mal on current ability. Mal will develop, hopefully Molloy does too. Carl Steinfort seems to be our best pick up. Remember that day he ran all day with Buckley, spewed at half time, and still managed to keep him quiet for the whole game. This guys got guts.
Nothing much to be said bout the deal with the Roos. Good Luck to Rick but this will end up being nothing more than a direct swap of pick 37 and 39. Neither a loss nor gain really. That far down down and that close together, makes no difference really.
Basically got nothing for Paul Williams in the long run. No outstanding player or up and comer and no early draft picks. Yeah he needed to be traded but for our advantage not for nothing. Hopefully time proves me wrong.

hhhmm yes Alf its true i already have my Roos guernesy with all my Ricky badges on no joke and if i pass all my exams my Dads getting me a Roos membership. Pies will still be my number 1 but for sure! May have to consider dropping the Dees I think
