I think so! The handbaggers will be hard to beat again but I think we should be able to account for most of the other teams given that we will be able to field a full side of Collingwood players.

the fact we are at the starting line gives us some show but what of our list? how can we possibly know without having a list to compare against the other teams?

what are your thoughts dtm? i would like to read your in depth analysis and opinion as to whether we are a show or not.

LOL, I'm with you Jock. Apart from our AFL players and a couple of signings, we don't have a team.

I dare say, we'll wait until after the pre season draft to sign up kids who miss out and a few senior VFL players to help, but it's a bit hard to speculate how we'll go with no form line or list to look at.

What i want to know is...

Collingwood won a VFA flag in 1896. After this they joined the VFL. Which then became the AFL in 1990.

None of the VFA flags count towards VFL/AFL premiership talley.

BUT... didnt the VFA become known as the VFL after '90?

So does that mean we already have a 'VFL' flag? or dont we?? :S

A premiership is a preniership we'd all like an AFL one, but I cannot see many being unhappy with a VFL one...at the moment we are a chance yes, are the rest of the teams...hell even Tasmania....since everyone is on 0 points....from then on it's anyone's season.
