Pretty sure it's not gout. I just got home from 6 hours working with a removalist company. Brand new pair of lace up work boots that come up to the bottom of the calf. Tied them nice and tight and after the first hour, It warmed up and I was walking normally. Plus driving the 5 speed manual ute from Heidelberg to Burnly and back. It's actually loosened up to the point where I can crack it a little when I rotate the ankle, which relieves some of the tightness.

I'm pretty sure it's related to the ligament damage I did years ago, maybe even arthritic.

But thanks for the thought. If it reoccurs, I'll keep that in mind. I'm sure my Doc would love any excuse to take another blood test so she can make sure the liver and cholesterol haven't gone gone backwards again.

I disagree. We have a system based on the theory of rehabilitation, but I am very skeptical about how much rehabilitation is actually going on, as opposed to second chances, and there is a very big difference between the two.

I wholeheartedly support the idea of the criminal justice system being used as a method of rehabilitation, but when in doubt, protection of the rest of society has to be made priority.

Stupid boy racers in their stupid doof doof, music thumping, leggo lookalike, so called street machines, that want to drag a superbike. I just nod and say come back when you buy a ferrari or something nearly capable of doing 300kph+.

....legally, of course!

Yes and when they drive through quiet Suburban Streets with their shit blasting contributing to waking up my 9 month old twins.

FFS have some consideration and turn the shit down.

I do not begrudge anyone listening to music. But how can they safely navigate a car with music blasting that loud???

people who wear earphones but still think they need the music loud enough to share their average tastes with everyone else on the tram or train.

i think there must be some very hard of hearing people these days.
