i think there must be some very hard of hearing people these days.
As a matter of public safety, I have to have them loud so I can try to block out the often inane and infuriatingly annoying people & conversations/yelling that goes on on Melbourne's Public Transport System, because if I don't and am forced to listen to it, I feel the unshakable urge to beat people to death with their own shoes.

Memo to self.

Don't engage in a conversation while travelling on Public transport if I'm wearing my work boots.

We are damned lucky to live in a country that allows us to have a whinge.

I'm sorry to say, we agree completely. It may not be perfect but I'd rather live here than anywhere else and I'm proud to be an Aussie.

People who want to sook and grizzle about how bad it is here, feel free to f*ck off somewhere else.

Just because we're "lucky" doesn't mean we can't be critical. In fact it means we HAVE to be critical, because most of the world doesn't enjoy 1/10th of what we take for granted for structural reasons. In fact, part of the reason we CAN be lucky is that we (as a western nation) exploit everyone else.

"Be happy or get the **** out" - what a ridiculous comment. Critics have just as much right to be here as those who by sheer "luck" feel the need to build walls around this part of the world and secure it from disagreement, poverty or change.

Omar, yes you need constructive criticism in order to improve things but people who are just negative, have nothing positive or constructive to say but whinge all the time for the sake of it can just F%ck off to somewhere that they consider is better IMO. If they can find it.
