it really is absolutely devestating news
not only to his family and friends
but the thousands of fans that paid for foxtel just to hear him call.
sometimes you can just tell if someone is a great bloke
and he was
Thoughts are with his family

WAS he a pies man??

I have to say it is a mark of his professionalism that i never ever picked which team he followed.

Farewell Clinton

He was a great football commentator. He was also well known in basketball circles as being a very good caller, sport he loved. He called Olympic games. He did boxing on main event.

He was a true professional and we're all poorer for his passing

32, gone too soon, the best was yet to come

%$^, what sad news, this guy was the best caller we had by the proverbial country mile, his work on fox was outstanding and he seemed like a really genuine fella...

Its weird how u feel when you here news like this, dont even know the guy on a personal level but it still made me feel sick to the guts when i heard the news..

You will be sorely missed dude, definitely one of the best....

This is absolutely freakin' tragic. I feel sick. Up there with the best two or three callers in the game and so likeable. My thoughts are with his family
