LOL, I can imagine the uproar when people suddenly realised that the person they thought hadn't posted in weeks, HAD been posting, they just couldn't see them.

Very, very devious. Almost sinister in fact. You should apply for a job as a Mod with thinking like that.

Another one that annoys me is "brought" for "bought".

just on the whole spelling/grammar thing...

What are people's views on the 'pronoun' yous?

I freely admit that I use it now and then, simply to differentiate from the second person singular 'you'... it can be confusing at times...

David, I hear it frequently and I cringe!

I understand your point about differentiating between singular and plural though. What I tend to do is use "you lot" , "you guys" or something similar for the plural.

and 'then' for 'than' as in 'bigger then that'.

and 'should/would/could of' instead of '.... have'.

it doesn't help when people on television and radio don't speak properly.

youse are sheep aren't they? otherwise it's at the appalling end of the scale.

My primary school teacher used to drum this into our heads!

Brought is for bringing something, (BR, AND BR)

Bought is for buying something (BO and BU, no "R")
