Hey chickies, sorry this is not footy related but I know you are motivated, strong and vocal women who can help the plight of women less fortunate. I'm a member of Amnesty International and right now you can sign an online petition to help the plight of a Nigerian woman who will be stoned to death for having a child while divorced. I know it seems pointless and that it's worlds away so what's it matter...please consider adding your name to the petition so those in power can see the world's reaction to such antiquated and appalling punishments. I don't mean to direct this topic directly to women, you guys who r reading should send an email too! Once again, apologies at the lack of footy content, I'm just passionate about these types of things and if only one of you signs the petition then it was worth it.

i doubt those 'so called' humans over there would pay any attention to a petition though.

they killed women over in that area of the world cos she got raped and had a child, like theres some sort of abortion clinic around the corner how sad are these people.

and yes, stoning people to death is the most common way of execution over there too.

by the way lisey, i think we do need to have stuff tested on animals b4 we use it to make sure its not gonna kill us, HOWEVER, i detest using animals such as monkeys for this, i know their genetic makeup is similar to ours so theyre almost human, they are very intelligent and i dont think intelligent animals should be used, lol only stupid ones like mice and rats etc!
oh yeah and if they insist on using them they should at least give them a decent enclosure, not a cage just big enough to hold them for their entire life.
