I would prefer Victoria Park, but logistically it's not possible due to the inept Yarra Council, so Princes Park it is.

Princes Park, Vic Park just isnt in the right condition to host a Collingwood VFL game and the arguments that it gets used now is pathetic as those games have more players/coaches than supporters

I'd prefer to play in a cemetery than Princes Park.

This issue will never go away.

One day, someone will bring us home.

Well said Magpie jack.
Victoria Park is where it should be happening.
It's all the more painful as it isn't only the Council that took Vicky Park away from us.

The facilities are not that good. The toilets stink and you can often smell the toilets from the food areas which really makes all the deep fried crap smell extra crappy!

Perhaps I have been to embroiled in this matter to really take a good backward step and take an objective look at what has happened, but the more I think of it, the more bemused I am at why the YCC, CFC and the State Government can not get together on this and work something out.

Its not like we were only there a few years, or we switched from ground to ground as the circumstances suited us. Victoria Park is the Collingwood Football Club and the Collingwood Football club is Victoria Park.

We don't have a home ground, it was ripped away from us, we're homeless
Lexus is a fine facility, but it isn't supporter territory.
There's no footy ground to speak of, just open parkland next to one of the busiest (read noisy, polluted) intersections!
And how awkward is it to get to!
Victoria Park is hallowed ground, our ground, it's where we belong, no matter what the big-wigs tell us!
To add insult to injury, we'll be watching our boys on Saturday play on filthy disgusting dirt, a ground built by Cheats :x
Vicky Park is ignored & under threat of demolition.
If only our beloved Club had the will to change its mind ........
