Painting ,
Moths ,
Moths in wet paint ,
Wet paint on emu ,
Wet paint on leather seats ,
New phone connections that don't work ,
Waiting 3 days for contractor who installed phone connections that don't work and all I get is lame excuses ,
Waiting for chippy to come and quote and he doesn't turn up ,
Flat car batteries ,
Jump starting in the dark and in a rush then connecting positve to negative ,
Melted starter leads ,
Blown Main fuses
Yes, it's been an eventful 24 hrs that I'd rather forget

I'm gonna have to read the required chapters 3 times before it starts to stick and I can do the assignments.

My battery died 2 weeks ago, but nobody I know has jumper cables... Maybe when you get yours started you could come down to Dandenong and fix mine up Good luck with everything else

Thanks sherrife. Yeh, the car started after a quick fix to the main fuse late last night. It's actually the car I'm trying to sell. A guy was sending out RACV today to check it out before buying and I hadn't driven it in 3 weeks. The leads are ok. Dandenong's a little out of the way though

Grad cert in workplace relations. After struggling through the first 100 pages, I'm starting to get into the swing of it. I'm only doing one subject to start with, so I can see if the brain still works. I've avoided putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) so far, but I'm gonna need to get mobilised.sherrife wrote:What course are ya doing mate?stui magpie wrote:I'm pissed off at trying to read and comprehend a friggin text book for a post grad course, having never actually been in a uni and doing year 12 well over 20 years ago

Oh, and Franki.
Lucky all you did was blow fuses. I gave someone a jump start one time, she put the leads on wrong and It fried her wiring. I carry a portable jumpstarter in the boot, bout $50 from supercheap auto. Has it's own built in torch as well.
But I do sympathise with the friggin moths.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Went to watch them train at the Gabba tonight & they completely snobbed us loyal fans who had been waiting there for atleast 3 hours..... NOT HAPPY JAN!!!
But I'm sure I'll only be pissed off with them until I go to bed, after then I'll be right as rain...

Dont be too hard on them Magpie Girl, we were at Brisbane airport on Thursday and most flights were up to an hour late arriving from Melbourne, they may have been on one of those that were late.Magpie Girl wrote:I never thought I'd say this but.... Collingwood....

Yeah, apparently that was the case.
