I've noticed that since this season started, after the game it takes ages to open a thread on here.
I've never had this problem before and i do have the fastest broadband, but it's like i'm on dial up (reminds me of the AFL site).
Is it the new server?
currently there are 105 users on here, but we've had more than this before and it's never been an issue for me.

I think you are right about the new server PP.
Never had any problems before the off line incident a while ago. Since then it's been slower than a Telstra animation.

I agree, for the past three weeks post game I have found the site unusable.
I am also on broadband but last night it was taking up to 10 minutes to load a page, I wouldn't care if it was dial up speed.

I've noticed a high number of guests are on here after games.Perhaps this is a cause of the issue?
but we've had that in the past and it hasn't affected the site as it's being affected now.

Are you serious Franki (about the seven minute gap)? That is insane.
And I thought the computer I was using was slow

hehe, I thought I'd throw that in for effect
Seriously though, pages would take up to two minutes to load.

Well it isn't happening tonight..... Given today's result I thought the server would be in meltdown.

It does take forever to load pages. I'll click on a thread, tab to Big Footy, open and close two threads and come back before the thread here opens.
After a game is shocking.

Just noticed this thread. I have experienced the same prob. I thought it might be a deliberate ploy to keep the nuffy's off after a loss. LOL. Though I haven't been reading that many threads recently because of the time it takes to load. Just don't come on as much.
