Scraped a pass in the two uni assignments marked so far. No idea how because the set text is the biggest load of waffle I've ever tried to read. Got some feedback that I need to write in a more "scholarly" style if I want to get better marks at a post grad level.

so we could never accuse you of being a gentleman and a scholar ... um come to think of it, you were a goner on the first part anyway.
LOL, thanks Jock. I suppose I barely qualify as a scholar, if not a scholarly one. As far as the "gentleman" goes, I feel like I'm wearing fancy dress every morning when I put on the suit and tie.

I would probably get better marks if I stayed the hell away from Nicks (and the internet in general) when I should be writing a 'think piece' on why institutional constraints are a good thing in the implementation of governmental policy ra ra ra.....aaaaarrrgh.
My Mum gave birth to a girl, Alethia, this morning. Haven't seen the baby yet but I dropped in to the hospital today to say hi... hopefully I'll get to see her tomorrow.
