today, i noticed on the hawthorn banner they used the design of a 13 year old's and even put her name on the banner. it was a caricature of a young girl with arms wide open and the words" 'i love hawthorn this much'.
how often do we use slogans [and pictures] that are not the 4x20 characters?
i think if we allowed a little more scope for creativity then we might get a few more involved.

Not often if ever... I cant remember slogans with just pictures.... unless they were ads... I'll ask the club and see how we go.... the thing is then ppl will only submit two lines and then what do we do? if they submitted what they wanted maybe it could work... also to have the caricatures... they are
abt 700 bucks each from memory... as the club pays for that it would have to be something really worthy... I dont think u guys know how much a banner is worth... u would get a shock if only u knew..... We have to put a lot of things in consideration especially money when a banner is made.... But yes a little more creativity would be good....
