Wood gets the tap, spins out of trouble and does well. Kicks a bit far. Pies (Ryan Colbert) kick another point. Pies 3-6 to 5-7.

Really sticking it to Egan.

Frost and Nichols playing well

Illes to wood to Anthony to Frost (20 M forward of center sq) Anthony long to egan. Boundary throw in. Woods kicks a point out of the ruck. Pies kicked 1-6 this quarter to 2-3. 22 Points down.

Sounds like pies playing well but can't finish.

Rowdy must be getting serious.

Dawes dropped a mark early in the quarter and was benched.

Illes puts throuhg a goal. Great 2nd quarter from Illes. Collingwood having a dip and dominating in the middle. Deserve to be equal with with Sandy. Collingwood had more of the footy did not make most of it. Goals Mccarthy 1, Illes 2. Frost and Nichols having a real go.

Comments on forward line (at half time break):
Dawes not on that quarter and apparently dropped a sitter. Egan always getting out positioned and out musled. Egan lazy and not running around - should be buring off his opponent Carrol. Struggling in the forward.

Dale have a good afternoon.

3rd Quarter

Chris Egan misses his target ball out on the fall. Pies 38 to Sandy 47. Dyas makes a meal of his bounce. Goal to Sandy. Put down to inexperience.

Barham back up and walking around the boundary which is good news.

Casey in Center - Anthony to strong - Toovey? - Turnover. Goal to Sandy.

Pies 37 - Sandy 61.

Anthony playing well. To Stanly to Frost to Egan -Turn over.

Pin Point kick by Anthony. Wood been disappoint so far. Chris Pendlebury seems to be playing well.

Stanley takes good mark. To Frost. Dawes got two to beat. Over the boundary.

Collingwood player injured - we are not sure who? The Commentators not yet said who is injured. Dyas. They said it looks like a knee. He is up on his feet. Kevin Dyas waling off ground and might be OK. Looks OK.

Anthony another mark. To Colbert. To Anthony. In Collingwoods half forward line. Stanley strong. To McCarthy. Still on half forward line Puched over boundary line. Frost sharks (sheppard Isles). Egan another point.

Dyas cocked it up...running and bouncing through defensive goal square, the ball bounced over his shoulder straight to a Sandy player for a goal.
