#9 Jack Anthony

Post by Dark Lord »

All aboard!

Saturday was the first time I've seen him play and he impressed me a great deal. Tough & courageous with a dose of Angry Pills, he looked good.

You should start a thread about it DTM.

I like the way JA goes about his footy, very committed, got good skills.
I think we will see a lot of him this year

My only concern with Jack is that he doesnt seem to do anything extremely well, he is an avearge mark, an average kick, is ok at spoiling, his tenacity seems to be his greatest strength. Hopefully i just haven't seen enough of him or his capabilities yet because we need another solid defender so we can stop Mick from destroying Chris Dawes career.

How did MM do that DTM?

Why didn't any other club pick him up?

Aaaah no, i was thinking more along the Ryan Lonie lines, we could have had really great wingman instead we have an avearge spare parts defender who gets abused by most Collingwood fans.

Yep i'm thinking you haven't seen enough, the boy is a strong mark and a fantastic kick (didn't get many yesterday but just witness his delivery to Rocca in the 3rd quarter that's how he delivers it.)
