I organised free entry and drink cards for some guests and I for a pub situated very close to Telstra Dome so that we could go there after the footy last Friday night - I specifically said to the manager that we would be going there after the football to which he replied "10 drink cards and free entry after 10 - Go Pies". When we got there we were told by the door bitch that we weren't allowed in because one of us was wearing a guernsey which I knew couldn't be the reason because a pub situated that close to a footy ground would thrive after the football, imagine not letting in anyone wearing a football jumper! They'd lose half their business. So, of course, I walked away bitching about it at the top of my lungs. Yesterday I made a complaint to one of the managers who ignored me. Today I made a complaint to another manager who told me that, no, it was NOT common practice for that bar to disallow entry to patrons who have come straight from the football and that he will 'look after me' next time we decide we want to go there. Haha tough titties, door bitch! Can't wait to see her on the door again!!

Bank manager and wife both said the magic Y word so I'm off to buy my first V-Twin. Haven't ridden for three years, so to say i'm a tad excited at getting back on a scoot would be an understatement. Life is magnificent :D

The 11 year olds footy team kept top spot on the ladder with a 57 point win over the second team. Great effort as Prahran had beaten them earlier in the year. All the team played well and stuck to the game plan - as much as 10 & 11 year olds can. - with some of our less skilled players really stepping up.

Finally managed to connect a VCR to my girlfriend's DVD recorder, enabling me to copy some of my rarer films on videotape to DVD.

I think you have to me to appreciate this :lol:

What made me happy was getting through the day at work after missing almost all last week.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

I am the president of the "Im addicted to potato chips" fan club haha! And today, I was eating a packet of sour cream and chive chips, as I would regularly..

Anyways, 3 of my babies (One turned 1 in July, one turned 1 in April, and another is almost 10 months..) crawled over, sat down next to me and patiently waited for a chip..

I gave them one, and they all ate it happily without choking, smiling at one another..

The babies then would lean forward, give me a kiss, and then put their hands out!! They know the drill! Together, we enjoyed our small picnic!!

Luckily I have great parents at work, who all just laughed at my story! :)
