RAFFLE 3: Presidents Dinner 23Aug08

Post by MargOZ »

Hi All,

Just a note to say that I am about to draw the NBB Sponsorship Raffle for the President's Dinner on Saturday night.

Details are as follows:

Date: Sat 23 Aug 08
Time: 5pm for a 5.30pm start
Dress: Jacket and tie (no denim)
Venue: Limelight Room, Telstra Dome

URGENT: *** I will need to express post the tickets to you tomorrow so if your name is drawn, please try and respond to your PM as quickly as possible to advise if you are able to attend or not. ***

BUT DON'T FORGET - we still have a signed CFC jumper to raffle and I have a few small mystery prizes as well! I am off to QLD this week for two weeks so will draw the remaining raffle prizes the first week of the finals.

GOOD LUCK!

We had to do a re-draw for one ticket as backpocket was unable to make it. The winner of the ticket, who is able to attend, is:

stik35

CONGRATULATIONS!

Look forward to hearing a report back from both you and Stuimagpie.

ENJOY!

It really should be compulsory that winners post photos and write a little report.

I was hoping Stui would.

There is not really much to report. We were in the Limelight Dining room which is a really long room that seats a few thousand people.
They didn't let us in until 5pm so there wasn't too much time before the game.

We sat at a table of 10 people who were sponsors of all different people - Stui and I were the only ones there for JA at our table.

We had a 3 course meal - one of those nouvelle cuisine types (big plate, small food).
Eddie arrived late and spoke for about 5 minutes then we went out and enjoyed the game - although probably not quite as much as we would have enjoyed it amongst the cheersquad where I normally sit.

It was a good night and good to meet you Stui.

Thanks again Marg.
