Well sort of happy but...well...

getting the date for my next operation, having it all done before the good weather. How lovely, two weeks off after the grand final. If we get in it and win it, they might not need to anethatise me. hahaha (OK that's wishful thinking...but you never know)

Well, in the last 2 weeks when I haven't been on nicks I GOT MY LEARNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D
I wasn't really confident when I went in to do the written test & I only just passed. Got the maximum wrong (1 wrong in the give way section & 2 wrong in the general section).

But I'm absolutely shit scared about driving, I haven't actually tried yet.... but Dad said he might take me for a drive on the weekend.

Nah, not just yet. My daughter will be getting hers in the school holidays. I taught her to drive on bush tracks and around a country town and she has difficulty telling left from right so I might have to buy her a humvee.

BYW, congrats. Enjoy yourself, just remember that life doesn't have a "reset" button.

I still can't tell my left from my right. I still have to hold up both hands & make 'Ls' with each hand to tell the difference........

LOL, teaching my daughter, I'd say "go left", she'd go right. I'd yell, "no, the other left", and she'd get it.
