Port Sheading Players

Post by paul »

I was half asleep when I heard a radio report saying that 4 port players have played their last games for the club.

Those I remember were Feigert, Dew and Dickie. There was also mention of Evans, a full Forward who was injured and didn't play.

Did anyone else hear the report. I thiught Dew was a handy goal kicker, but I haven't seen Port much this year.

Paul, maybe you were asleep and dreaming, but if not, Stuart Dew would be a good pick up, particularly after his performance last weekend.

I wasn't dreaming. I checked out the Age site after posting this item.

It is likely that Dew would only be available for a trade, like Cummins and Heuskes last year.

Another name listed was Lyle.

If Wasley was home sick we could trade trade him for Dew. What do you reckon Foxy?

Hopefully Patto is homesick we might be able to swap a Dickie for a Sickie.

They can keep Lyle, but Fraser Gherig would be nice if the rumours are true.

Also read this morning that Eddie upgraded Leigh Colbert's ticket to the USA to first class. What a nice gesture by the Prez....he wouldn't want anything in return would he?
