I struggle with my left and right, using the "go your door" or "go my door" for directions works for me.
How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say?

Well, I went driving for the first time this afternoon.....
Mum took me out to this little industrial estate that was pretty much empty.
I learn how to turn corners, it was pretty fun!! :D
Mum recons I'm a rev head :P All I wanted to do was just put my foot down & see how fast I could go. But there wasn't really that much room. Then I'd brake suddenly & mum said I could give someone whip lash..... it was fun though.....

Haven't tried the open road just yet, like, with other cars..... I don't like the look of them coming towards me.... :?

^ Driving for the 1st time is fun, but don't take advantage of your mother. A driving instructor will pull you up big time. Be nice and behave next time your mother gives you the opportunity.

Drive well and enjoy.

Haha! My Mum would absolutely die if I did that!

Yes, I am 20 years old, still on my learners.. I don't think I'll ever be able to drive alone! Not that the person in the car helps me at all, but the reassurance is nice :)

My Mum is one of those people who starts to brake when she sees that the light has been green for ages, just incase it may go yellow sometime soon! So, driving with her is a barrel of fun :P

Love always, Alyssa xoxo

Why do you like it so much? A deeper algorithm is needed to respond to that correctly. 20 is a good age. Please specify location.

On the drive back home from Adelaide today, I convinced Dave to stop in at the Giant Koala at Dadswells Bridge. I've driven past it a hundred times in my life (I've lived in both Adelaide & Melbourne) and nobody would ever let me get a photo out the front..

So, Belinda, Tracey and myself stood at the front of it, waiting for David to take a photo..

Tracey's going on about how odd it is that it is in the middle of nowhere, when you hear her go "Oww!!" A piece of the fibreglass ear fur broke off at that exact second, and hit her on the head!!

Unfortunately, Dave had already taken the photo, so we missed it completely, but man, did we laugh about it afterwards!! Hilarious!! :P

That's a photo of it, if you have no idea what I am talking about haha!

Haha!!
Dad took me driving around the same place today. He seems to be a lot more calmer than mum. Let me do a few laps without him saying anything which was nice.
I still can't brake smoothly. But I think I'm getting better.
Although, I do get distracted quite easily.... not good..... 8)

Us Dad's are better at driving lessons than mum's. 8)

What made me happy today was having the kids come over for fathers day. Pre planned it, they left the partners behind and came over alone for a couple of hours.

Got a new Collingwood bar mat for the bar. :D

Finished mid semester exams today and now have three week break from study. Pity I haven't got the same time off work.

I became a Step-Grandaddy yesterday. :D
My step son's GF gave birth to a 9 pounder yesterday morning. I won't repeat her description of how her insides felt, but needless to say she was walking with a limp last night.

Met bub and then went to the pub with the happy father and some mates of his and wet the babies head. (actually, probably nearly drowned the poor tyke.). Crashed at his place last night and up at 6 for work this morning. 8)
