Spoke to this girl i know who works in Box Hill around where Scotty lives.
Its a deli type place and Scotty goes in there quite regularly as he is family friends with the owner. The girl indicated to me that he didnt seem his usual self and didnt talk as much as he usually did. To put it in her terms "He was in a feral mood"

No shit. I said AROUND where he lives. Are you contemplating making a career out of trying to prove people wrong?MACDAICOS wrote:Burns lives in Kew.TheGreatDane wrote:Spoke to this girl i know who works in Box Hill around where Scotty lives.

FWIW I think he's going.
If he stays its in a diminshed role and he will not be Captain. He has struggled to get on the ground and he is playing reduced minutes.
This can only get worse as we seek to play young players and the likelihood of us picking up more midfielders either by trading or drafting.
Whatever happens he's been an absolute gun.

I agree, Rogan seems to gain a bit when he's skipper (as well as being far & away the most underrated big bloke in the comp) and many players do just the opposite. Players who are more subject to confidence issues often suffer from the added pressure of the captaincy.05bucks wrote:daics cousin wrote:Collingwood's next captain will be TRAVIS CLOKE
Not Travis, no way.
Josh is the man for the job
Remember, it's not a matter of picking your best player, rather, you want a born leader, a player who has the respect of the other blokes, and someone who performs week in-week out without being subject to confidence problems like Trav, Ant, Fev, or Richo.
I would've picked Dids a few months ago despite his being something of a confidence player. I remember Mick describing him as a born leader just prior to his debut, and he always seems to perform when the chips are down - case in point the goals from the boundary against the Brions in the '03 first final. Heater would also have been an excellent choice as his game is built on work rate and leading from the front. He also has the Shaw name and history and is steeped in the spirit of Bobby and Jock.
But the suits stuffed that up.
Imagine those hypocritical turds going after a drug fiend like Cousins when they've stuffed the careers of two Collingwood champions - costing us a shot at Hawthorn this week in the process - because of a silly fib.
Those two players are Collingwood to the bone. If businessmen cause us to lose them I will be coming after them (verbally, of course!)
So it's Rogan, Tarks, or maybe Pendles. Travis won't work simply because he's a confidence player, albeit a great one. Same goes for Daisy.
But it don't matter this year, Scotty will play on.
