I just can't see cousins naming collingwood if he is going to name his club on ch 7. There's no way eddie would let that happen, so my tip is he will go to the saints.

Im a bit disapointed in it all if this is the case. I'll be and already am, sick to death of players being linked to us and it never happens.

Fingers crossed eddie has allowed ch7 to get the scoop.

The reason we miss out on so many players is that EVERY player that's up for trade or having their contract renewed is apparently going to Collingwood. People get their hopes up and as always it turns out to be utter BS.
As has already been said when he's running around in a Collingwood jumper I'll give a rats, until then it's all pie in the sky (no pun intended).

I whinge about it coz half the time I'd really like to see said player at pies. The two I have been really disapointed in missing out on were Luke Power and Ryan O'Keefe a couple of years ago. Not many knew, but Ryan was "again" almost signed with us. Another one of those "missed by that much" moments.

Nothing wrong with being disappointed, it's the "woe is me, Collingwood never land the big fish, and certainly won't land this one", that becomes tiresome. There are 15 other teams in the comp, we, nor any of them can always come out on top. Others miss out just as much as we do, even if the media reporting or visibility of our club sometimes make it seem otherwise.

Sheehan & Brownless on before the game on Foxtel, both said he will announce Collingwood as his preferred club tomorrow.

On Before the bounce Sheehan just said Brownless had lunch with Ben Cousins and that Ben was going to announce who his preferred club is.

Sheehan said it will be Collingwood and Brownless nodded yes.
