They asked him about us and he goes he wants to go to a club with a solid structure. I think he has decided but he didnt wanna say. Maybe he meant coaching wise and health wise. We do still have the best training facilities in the afl.

was just asked if collingwood was one the clubs he could go to...looked immediately down and hesitated before giving the 'company line'...i dont know how everyone else read that, but from what i could see there was something in his eyes that just wanted to say 'yes im going to the pies'. fingers crossed.
The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don't play together, the club wont be worth a dime.

Ok I am feeling better after that. I just knew if he wanted to come to us, he'd not announce it on 7. There's still hope. That's all we can hang onto. That's those of us who want Benny in the black n white.

would he think we have a solid structure tho?

also said clubs that have been thru these things are in better stead.......similiar things with the Didak & Shaw incident ( alcohol related)

nah i feel worse now... what the **** was that?

i was expecting the interviewer to ask where do you want to go and benny just screams pies!! pies!!!!!!! and then rips of his shirt to reveal black and white body paint and starts singing the collingwood song...

that would have been much better than "there was something in his eyes"

Very interesting panel on Seven at the moment. Fingers crossed on Cousins. He sounds very lucid and knowledgable about the game. People under-rate his intelligence. Listen carefully to Choco Williams. I can't believe some people want him to coach Collingwood.

"FALLEN AFL star Ben Cousins may announce tomorrow where he wants to resume his AFL career."

or he may not.

Possibly just a ruse to get people watching. Time will tell.

Would the AFL and also the Paul Barnaba the WCE CEO want him back. I dont think the AFL will allow him to come back.

http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/sport/afl/story/0,26576,24408754-19742,00.html

His manager Ricky Nixon yesterday confirmed Cousins had sought permission from the AFL to play again, but at which club was yet to be determined.

"He needs to demonstrate to the AFL that he is in a fit state of mind, that he is healthy enough to be eligible to be drafted," Nixon said.

"So I don't think he will be announcing anything tomorrow on Channel 7.

"It would be prejudicial to the draft."

At least he said it wont be WCE... looks like a Vic club as choco knocked him back
