No, that's not my job. But as a "good citizen" in a free democracy (or has Collingwood gone fascist as well!) I have every right to criticise people who I don't believe have done a good enough job. But my voice is just one small one among many.

The way the financial crisis is going and given the fact we lost millions on the pubs, I shudder to think of what our club's balance sheet looks like at the moment. That might in fact speak eloquently enough.

Piss poor effort by the pies. We NEED talented experience after the recent losses of Bucks, Wakes, Clements, Burns, Holland etc etc. The team we have now might qualify for the bloody under 23's soon!!

Oh well, we MIGHT get to see another flag in our time......................!! At least I can treasure 1990!!!
Don't forget Chris Judd.

HAHAH police are watching Ben , now this is funny, are they also watching all the other AFL players whom are on two strikes for drugs(no names mentioned) Plus Ben never addmitted what substance he was using.
The man deserves a second chance, and that second chance should be at collingwood. I am sick of the pies saying that they will go after high profile players ie judd, brown, kerr and not come through with the goods, maybe if they stuck to their plans then all of us could have somthing to celebrate about. at least we sitill have 1990.

The Vic Police have never said they were watching Cousins

Collingwood have never said they would go after high profile players

Happy to be corrected if you can provide me a quote or two

Having in all likelyhood given up on Cousins, maybe we could draft Christine Nixon. She certainly has the mass to make a good backman.

He was worth the risk, in more ways than one. You think we have no one at the club who does drugs in their off time? Is Didak NOT an alcoholic? Lets get real, this is bullshit.....

Cousins is an absolute gun and, if he returns and resumes the form he showed in 2007 when he came back from rehab, then this club will be the laughing stock of 2009. Mark my words, feel free to do so......

They are pathetic. Oh and also, when Carlton finish above us and march on towards their next premiership while we languish, think of the great job and decisions made by Eddie, Mick and co.

No wonder we have won **** all for so long. Powerhouse my arse, they are a disgrace.
Hey princess, then bugger off and follow another team, if you think life is so hard here
good for you..... You accept mediocrity. I don't and the club has done **** all to rectify that in recent years. So if I want to vent, I will. You can **** off if you like.....
You'll except what ever Collingwood decide to give you and be happy about it.
Failing that put your arse on the line and go and change things

But whinging and whining will not cut it.
Alec, with all due respect,i dont think being critical of our great club,in a constructive manner,is at all bad.Just because people like jack, dids 4,and yes,me,do slam the Clubat times,,does NOT mean we love it any less than you.
Healthy critisims is a good thing,it keeps the club on its toes,if i was a head honcho at Pieland I would EXPECT to be slammed,if i made balls ups and stuffed up.Missing Cousins may be the good thing, but if it isnt, and he stars at the saints,we are going to look like damn fools. We missed out on Lockett thru some dumbo on the committee, and we missed out on Quinlan too years ago, that cost us the 79 flag.Never accept the line the "Club knows best,no matter what",that is as blind faith as the german people had, believing in Hitler regardless of what he did,and look what happened to Germany :!:

Squib.

You're nothing but an empty vessel. Happy to crap on about how bad it all is but at the end of the day you've got no alternative. Sure we live in a democracy and you can say what you like but why should anyone listen to your BS when it leads nowhere? Your arguments all end up as little more than innuendo, whinging, and carping. You've got no idea whether a new board and leadership would be any better than the current incumbents but your happy to run down people who have done their best for the Club. And if you're so hot to change the big bad board, why don't you run for the board yourself? That would be 'putting your money where your mouth is' now wouldn't it?

Hey, I'm all for constructive criticism, in fact I'd be the first to encourage it and to join in.

I have no doubt the club could/should do somethings better, but all I see on these boards is a huge bitch fest.

Don't get me wrong, there are some brilliant posters here, who post well thought out topics/issues (nomadjack, jmcp, madness, magpiegreg, david, sherriffe, joffa, Dr Alf, Morague(sp?), rocketronnie, pied piper, woftam, nulla etc etc)
These people post real issues not just whinging, whining bullshit.
Plus there is another group who come here with an agenda to do as much damage as possible to the Club, it is this group I detest.

If people think they can just get on here and spew vitriol and hatred without any comeback from reasoned posters they are wrong.
I for one will attack them and show them up for what they really are at every opportunity.

But yes, constructive criticism is not only good it is necessary

See you missed the entire point, didn't you?

Totally agree....This is the BIGGEST missed opportunity EVER that will come back to bite us on the bum over and over again.
SO bloody frustrated that Collingwood continues to struggle so badly to recruit "ESTABLISHED" (not "possible") guns from other clubs since we got Bucks. Maybe they should get Graham Allan back to do the negotiating??
