Oh Mags, looks like Spidergirl will have to buy her own jumper. In the end my 5 bucks went on Sunline and didn't she sh#t it in.

Go you good thing!

Skyheights missed the start badly and could not recover. Mooney Valley is not the track to have a bad start.

On another note, I am in 3AW's Coodabeen champions Punter's Club. It was the first radio contest I had ever entered, and that was only because I like the Coodabeen's (even though none of them are Collingwood people) and the question was an anagram (and I am good at anagrams). The Punter's club is investing $200 on each of the Saturday meetings over spring carnival with the pool being split between the 24 of us. They keep having these ALL UP bets which I do not understand, but if three or four of the horses get up we are supposed to win a lot of money. But going by their past results I can expect a nil dividend. This week they got one first (Sunline), a placing (Emmission) and two non placings (Make Me a Miracle and their hot tip Chattanooga). Pathetic really, seeing as they got help from an alleged race expert. Still it gives me a interest.

Hey, if these racing experts are such experts, how come they have to make a living in the media rather than on the punt.

Mags, a piece of advice, never bet anything you are not prepared to lose (I continually bet my sister, but she is a Carlscum supporter and therefore expendable).

You'll never catch me Fletch. I've jumped into my BMW and skipped the State.

Actually, I'm more scared of Mags.

I told you that gambling was no easy way to make a living, Mags. Especially when you listen to the advice of "experts" like me.

I've got the perfect system that never fails:

If you don't bet, you break even.

Alf you have no place to run and hide, so pay up or say goodbye to your legs. haha

While we're talking horse racing I hope everyone had a couple of dollars each way on SavRocaa today, the big grey won the Geelong Cup and payed $20 a win and $4.40 a place.

WOOHOO!!!

Now why would I be putting money on a horse named after a Kangaroos player?

Because it Won and payed $20!

So while Emma dreams about the two legged Sav, I'll be more than happy with the four legged version.

Mags don't listen to them, theres plenty of money in horse racing.

Does that mean Sav Rocca can run in the Melbourne Cup?

Unfortunately, after just a quick glance at the form I went for MacGuire. That's twice recently that dog has lost money in a horse race for me. Time to shoot it or get another president.
