lol i was about to say..

but you have to enjoy yourself or else you'd go mad.

but slipnot?? :?
Slipknot put on an awesome show!!

I know they're not to everyone's liking.
But I do have a very broad taste in music, one of the other concerts I've been to in the last year is Justin Timberlake.
So you can't get much more diverse than that!!!

I'll one up you Alyssa, I have German Reggae in my music collection!!
Lol.

But yeah my music is pretty much the same except a lot less country and more metal/rock/alternative.

It gets boring if you listen to the same thing all the time.

Geez Sam, what did you do to deserve those shifts?!

I guess an extra four annual leave days is a bonus.
Do you get public holiday rates for all those shifts?

my normal shift is 7:30-3:30 mon-fri.
we're open 24hours a day here, so everyone is expected to work their normal shifts, unless they request it off. I really couldnt care this year so im like meh might as well work and make money.
and no, we dont get public holiday rates, just the days in lieu.
so its like penalty rates, but instead of getting the cash now, i can take the days off AND get the cash when i want :)

I guess I really can't complain with my work. I work 8:30 - 4:30 Mon-Thurs (Fri off). The office closes down b/w Xmas and New Year AND it closes the Monday before Cup Day. The days aren't free - they're taken out of my A/L, but still - gotta love it!!
After Monday and Tuesday, even the calendar says WTF.

I'd hate to work christmas day.. That's my favourite day of the year..

I have it good at my work.. It's open from 7am to 6pm. I am not a morning person at all, so my boss has given me the 10-6 shift, every day but Wednesday, where I work 9-5.

I said to her last Friday, 'Can I finish early on Friday to go to the footy?', and she's like 'Sure, whatever!'

And then she gave me today off, too! Woo! :D
