EXCLUSIVE: BEN Cousins' path back to football cleared significantly yesterday when his urine sample was found to be drug-free.

If Benny gets through all the tests and does everything right to get back into the AFL system, will Collingwood ever tell us the real reason that we never took him? I wont be happy at all, thats for sure!

Ben never failed a urine test when he was playing either.
I think the hair follicle results will be a better guide as to where he is at with his rehab.

As Dan suggests, will we ever know the true story on why we by passed Cuz ???

Was merely damaging the brand the core element of the decision or was it a youth policy ?

Which one Perty ? Which one Walshy ?

Personally I feel at this point I have been told a crock of lies by certain individuals at the club and my faith in their honesty has diminished dramatically due to their inconsistency of information disseminated.

To think Dids & Heater were suspended for lying !!!

I knew this was going to happen ,i even posted on LSD AND BIG FOOTY,as to the disgust of the collingwood board.They are all yes men and always spin yarns.We will never win aflag with this current board.

Cousins was there for the taking and as the old story goes we f...d up again.
Just wait this will definately come back to bite us,when Cousins is tearing it up with the saints.Funny you know because Collingwood was his club of choice.

Here are the new candidates who should replace the current board.

Michael Christian- media personality and 1990 premiership player
Craig Kelly- multi millionare and ex premiership player
Mark Bouris- CEO of Wizard Finace and loyal pie supporter
Gallbally- well known barrister and comes from a loyal collingwood suppoter base
Jimmy Clement- ex player and astute business man

We need collingwood people with nouse and ruthlessness and who have a
knowing on success and who know what it takes to WIN FLAGS !
The Ben Cousins sceanrio is just one more nail in the coffin to what has been a disaterous 10 years for collingwood's plight of winning another flag.
Questions must be asked,we want action not reaction.

Yes,we have f-ed up big time,yet again,yet a bloody again,he will turn it on for the Saints,for sure.Daics Cousin is spot on,keep edward,dump the rest of the bastards.Its time for change,big damn change.I am sick and tired of inaction and procrastination by this current Board,the faceless men of Collingwood.We have a great young team,but a shithouse Board not worth a burnt crumpet.Now we have a huge financial loss as well,yes its time.

So ben was drug free according to a urine sample..well excuse me but what a crock of shite..

Did Ben know he was to have a urine test ? Its easy to be drug free prior to an arranged Urine testing for drugs..

Why havn't the AFL been conducting weekly random Urine testing on Ben since his willingness to resume his AFL career. If the AFL return Ben to the game on the result of one urine test..well then they dont have a bloody clue!
But then again have a look at the current AFL drug testing proceedure ?

I really like the look of that board. Great to see three wonderful ex-players listed as well. Now if someone can get a ticket up.

One urine drug test Mr Spain does not prove anything, Infact if it was not a random drug test it was nothing absolute nothing.

For those to somehow suggest the Pies got it wrong on the conclusion of ONE urine drug test is complete and utter ignorance.
Sorry again Mr Spain for not joining another shit- baggers lynch party..Thats my choice as is your choice to rubbish everything Collingwood and beautify everything Hawthorn .
