Keep it going, it's hoot. The certs from the final last year are framed and have pride of place on the piano.

And the idea of putting up 22 threads at the start of the year gives us all more time to think of something that might be witty in games coming up through out the year!

Think I may have a go this year, having joined Nick's half way through last season. I did have some input to a banner in 1990 - When we played North towards the end of the season - the day Ron Mckeown held Longmire to a couple of goals, causing him to miss his 100 (kicked many points from memory) - I thought my faxed suggestion was pretty good :

"Support Australia's native bird
we love them win or lose
to see the Magpies thrive in Spring
It's time to cull some 'roos"

The culling of 'roos was a hot news topic at the time

The banner ended up as

support Australia's native bird
we love them win or lose
to see the Magpies thrive in spring
would be the greatest news

gee the club was a bit touchy in those days - ended up very tame

look forward to participating

I've only just seen this thread. Yes, definitely. Have my framed certificate and picture pride of place and determined to add to it. I know it's a lot of hard work for you - but would it make it easier if you knew how much we appreciate your efforts?! It's fun to do, trying to figure something out, then the wait to see who wins, then the disappointment when it's bucksisgod again

I say yes, I've already been trying to put a few together for during the season...

Please keep up the great work
