What made me happy today was finding out that a friend is able to let me crash at his place for a month when I arrive in Melbourne... meaning I'll have some time to look around for accomodation. All I need now is to plan a date to move down and I'll be set
will/can u transfer with your current employer or look for a new job?
good luck finding somehwere, it's not much fun.
Transfer would be the go. Fortunately JB has a few stores down in Melbourne, so I should be able to fit in somewhere (at least until I can find a better job).

Played at "the Heritage Golf and Country Club" out at Wonga Park.
4 ball Ambrose, Golf carts, a chick on a cart full of booze, snacks and sandwiches cruising round the course handing out free booze, a sponsor table at each tee handing out giveaways....Damn, that's how Golf should be played all the time.
Dinner, emCee'd by John Blackman and more booze.
I did a runner after the main course before the speeches, prizes and auctions so I could find my way home while it was still light enough and I was still sober enough but what a bloody brilliant day.
tough economic times indeed.
Hoping to raise over $50k. Lots of sponsors and supporters, the celeb's all came at "mates rates".
I played with 2 guys from the local leader paper. Must have been riveting for them. A number others do it to support a good local cause, get a bit of local publicity and also do some networking.
The company that provided lunch gave everyone a little soft esky with a baguette, ice pack, fruit drinks and snacks with their name on it. The drink cart was sponsored. Great day and very very well organised.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.
