Great game by Dick.

Wasn't ready at the start of the season and was rightfully dropped but went back to the VFL, did the hard yards and earnt his recall to the side.

Impressive.

After suffering through the early years of Leon, the entire career of Egan and moments of laziness that sometimes still plague Cox(was good today) it's a pleasure and a relief to finally have an aboriginal kid come into our side who's so willing to work hard on the field and plays with such enthusiasm for the contest and game.

Keep it up Brad and you'll be a star for many years to come!

It normally says "Colingwood", but when he gets a rush of blood it says, "Good old Collingwood forever"

He is a real weapon, moves quick, thinks quick and obviously likes to apply pressure on the ball, just needs to start eating heaps more hokey poky ice cream and hitting the creatine.

Really good game from Dicky again this week, backing up from last week's game. You can see that he & Leon have a real bond, the way that Leon handballed off to give him that goal.
Swan is down, Swan kicks the goal! And everything here will be a Magpie celebration!

I would imagine he would still qualify - doesn't turn 21 until July and has played less than 10 games. So, it's perfectly possible (although unusual for a player to get nominated in their third season, I would imagine).

Yes, he qualifies. Under the rules a player must be under 21 at January 1 of that year, and must not have played more than 10 games at the START of the season. Dick doesn't turn 21 until July and at the start of the season had played six games.

David, Michael Rischitelli, from Brisbane, was another to be nominated in his third year (2006).

Dick has a great future ahead of him. I am so pleased he did well; that will give him a real confidence boost, especially after coming back from his knee injury. I don't expect him to perform at that level consistently yet - like all young players he will have ups and downs - but the most important thing is he knows he belongs out there.

I've got to admit that officially!!! for me ,Sharrod Wellingham has turned the corner, His game ,"after 1/2 time,"along with Dick was outstanding, and our indigenous players must rank with the best any team can boast.
And OH YES!! Leigh Brown .Mustn't forget him now EH PPL
