^The more realistic reason we have won the last 3 in a row is because we have played sides that finished last season in 16th, 15th and 13th position, we now have nearly a full list to pick from and players are starting to play closer to there ability(Didak,Shaw,Dick).

Dick would have made no difference in our loss to Geelong or massive defeats by Carlton(51pts) and St.kilda(88pts) and as he played in the first game against Adelaide and made no difference to the result can't see how one could say he would have been the difference in the Anzac clash with the form he had displayed at the time.

Malthouse was correct to drop him to the VFL level, Dick has returned to the side a much more confident player who's in form and the outcome of this strategy is evident during the last 2 weeks.

Finally don't dwell, just relax and enjoy the Dick show for many years to come.

I know i will!

He will be our answer to Cyril Rioli. He kicks beautifully off both feet, has good hands, is quick, courageous, reads the fall of the ball well and is a wonderful tackler for his size. His zest for the game is also an inspiration to fans and teammates alike.

It would have been easy to say a couple of years ago that we had enough forward pocket players, but I think he is an important piece of the jigsaw for us.

I noticed that one too & thought to myself that it was a thankyou from last week. It's great to see those two playing so well together, they seem to have a real bond.
Swan is down, Swan kicks the goal! And everything here will be a Magpie celebration!

No we didn't!

We never said he wouldn't be a good player or should be banished to the VFL never to be seen or heard of again!

We simply recognised his form at the start of the season didn't warrant further selection at that stage and he like all the other players on our list had to earn there place in the 22.

It's a view Malthouse obviously agreed with!

Becoming a huge fan of this boy, just think how much better he will be after a couple more seasons of weights. It's going to be a scary prospect for opposition players and coaches.
