In the bagging Steve McKee topic (the fraser one). I stuck up for McKee, My friend actually barracks for Richmond and said it was a poor swap for Richmond. Anyway I think it is a smart idea to make a topic on him, he sure shouldn't be put down.
He hasn't even had a chance to play yet! GOD!

I tend to agree with those who think the guy should get a chance. Legionnaires is not exactly equivalent to a cut finger, and those throwing stones should think about a certain Lee Walker, who lots of posters seemed to think was the best thing since sliced bread.

Bad call Davo

First Lee walker could play footy this guy would of been a sensation with a bit of luck.
He was one tough bastard and deserves all the praise that comes his way.
Also i hope for mckee that he does have a good seaon but im not so sure?
Let me explain sometimes you can tell a real footballer as opposed to an ordinary footballer with what he does with himself a kick and a half behind the play.
The next time anyone goes to the footy pick out a player watch that player a kick and a half behind the play.
Is he presenting himself as an option or is he just simply
running into a crowded contest.
Does he have the ability to run onto the ball correctly and decisevly.
And more importantly does he have the confidence in his team mates to be singled out as an attacking option.
Watch nathan buckley and to a lesser degree leon davis and you will appreciate what i am talking about.
As far as im concerned mckee got his fair share of chances before he was struck down with leigonaires.
But then again opinions are like arseholes we all have one!!!

SHITE HERE COMES COLLINGWOOD THE MIGHTY BLACK AND WHITE!!

Joffa, Lee Walker could have been a great player, but wasn't. We took a big punt on him, and unfortunately it didn't work out for either party. This didn't stop a lot of posters regressing to the magic "if only" posts regarding him. I've bagged plenty of blokes who have worn the B&W over the years, and bookies odds over McKee joining the list are probably quite short, but for the moment, I'll give him a while.

I have never seen McKee play (or not play, as the case may be), all I'm sayin is my personal jury on him is still out. Like you I hope he does OK.
