just listening to SEN. It's comic.
According to Ox, no doubt we are always font runners to get Fev, along with the Saints apparently that is where The Fev wants to go!!!
There are no Cats supporters ringing in but heaps of disillusioned Carlton Fans! The thought of Him going to the Pies is just unbearable!!
Personally he is the forward we are missing but I am not sure how he will fit in? Swans will be the front runners to get his services.

Depends on the price / what other trading options we have.
Here are my thoughts on how interested other clubs would be in getting him. Unfortunately for Carlton , I don't think there will be a crazy bidding war...
Definate No's:
Geel - No cap space.
StK - Already have Riewoldt / Koschitzke
Lions - Already have Brown / Bradshaw
Haw - Already have Franklin / Roughead
Likely No's:
Ess - Just pushed out Lloyd to give next generation a go. Fevola too old.
Rich - Re-building. Fevola too old.
Melb - Re-building. Fevola too old.
WCE - Re-building. Fevola too old.
Freo - Re-building. Fevola too old.
Probable No's:
Port - Probably know they have to re-build. Fevola therefore too old.
North - Probably know they have to re-build. Fevola therefore too old.
Some Interest:
Coll - Have a young unproven Key Forward (Dawes), one who looks the goods (Anthony), one who looks the goods but is too injury prone (Rusling) + one who has just come off a shocker of a season (Cloke). Premiership window open so might be tempted.
Likely Interest:
Syd - They really shouldn't, but they like big name recruits.
Bulldogs - Set on Hall, but that can change.
Crows - Will be keen to make the most of their chances before a few oldies retire. Have tried this before though with Carey and got stung.

On ability yes, if you can get him to grow up, which Carlton obviously have struggled to do, he can be an asset to the team. I am not sure if we'd get him anyway so I guess it might end up being a non-event.

I agree somewhat with this line of thinking. The Blues have no intention of trading him for anything less than another competant forward which is unlikely to be offerred for trade. Once trade week is over and no deal meets Carltons requests they will simply say "We tried to honour our word but no satisfactory deal could be done and we are forced to keep him on the list" or something like that. This will give Brendan the wake up call they are hoping for and the Carlton Board gets off the hook.member34259 wrote:There's the point.stui magpie wrote:^
He's contracted so if they don't get a trade they want (read that they'll screw over any team who wants him) then they'll keep him. No way they're stupid (or moral) enough to sack him.
Carlscum are being politically correct by "putting Fevola up for trade". But we all know that it is easy to overprice a trade to ensure it fails.
It's what Port did with Stevens.
If not then I'd love to have him at Victoria Park, otherwise just put 5kg's on JA and continue with Trav's kicking development.
Also, I find it EXTREMELEY hard to believe that the mortal enemy would trade their 2nd best player to us for anything less than our best eg: Swan, Didak, Cloke etc...
RED "BABY" CAVANAUGH: Didn't hear what the bet was.
