Don't forget if the Blues don't trade him they have to still pay his contract - even if he does not play.

He will be traded and Saints don't have enough space unless they offload a few players - Ball, Goose and more.

Pies lose a little in the salary cap with Rocca (vet list) and Marty - but it just depends on what we have to swap for him.

I think the Blues will ask for Harry and Heater as they really need defenders.

Then they will settle for Nathan Brown and swapping draft picks.

This is what we need,
we get the ball into our forward 50 plenty of times but cant score.
(Also means jack will be freed)

If fev can add 70 - 80 per year for the next 3 - 4.

Who cares if he is a wanker? we are here to win flags and he can be the key.
Put him on a contract that doesnt allow him to drink alcohol or appear on TV and make it happen
Not just about off-field behaviour or personality - though that does increase the strength of my opposition to his signing.

He's also far too often a liability on the field for Carlton. They'd not be considering a deal if he weren't. He's just the sort of player you don't want on a young team just about entering its premiership window. Maybe he can change, but the Blues have been waiting a decade for that, and it's not happened.

Some are saying we'd have kicked more goals against good opposition with Fev in the team. Maybe, but there's no certainty, how'd he go against Adelaide, Saints, Cats and us this year? Not too well if I remember. These are the games where he's at his worst, when the ball's not coming to him on a platter. He drops his head and becomes a liability.

Buckley
Rocca
Clement

Medhurst

Clement, Licuria and Medhurst were not big name players when we landed them Mate. Rocca, perhaps in name and potential only. Bucks is the only one really and we landed him after only a year at the bears.

he'll be kciking his usual 85 goals plus in the navy blue again next year unless the dogs come to their senses and make a straight swap for lake. until then, its just grandstanding by the blues - more carlton nonsense.

if it was legit, i would have him. and i would be prepared to offer daisy and/or dawes in the deal to get him.

at a point where i just want a flag - im seriously not bothered who is wearing one of the 22 black and white shirts when we hoist the cup

Fact- lock it in Eddie

I'd throw in the 1st rounder instead of the 2nd rounder even. How about Fraser for Fevola? Or 1st Round pick plus a player such as Medhurst or Reid? I knew we should've tanked this year. Could've had a great high pick to offer.

No it is not grandstanding by Carlton, if this was the case they would have said we will look to trade Fev if we can find a suitable offer not that he definitely gone and he would not be saying he wants to find a new club. FEVOLA IS FINISHED AT CARLTON

He may miss some pre season - as when Gelo (Dad) get's a hold of him he will get a real old Italian kicking :D

This may be his last chance and I would be tipping a heavily incestive based contract will exit clauses.

If we can land him don't be surprised if he kicks a ton in 2010.
He is on a 2-Year contrace at $750 000 a season

Reid for a 29 year old nutcase? No chance we'd even consider it.

Where's the option for a thousand no's?
Oh well, have to settle for just the one.

Will be very disappointed if we get Fev. The club's made some smart move in the last few years, so don't think we'll make that mistake.
