I hope you're right.Podpicken wrote:Bucks is the one who actually wants him as his pet projectRudeBoy wrote:I'd love us to get Fev, but I seem to recall the last time Carlton shopped him around, Bucks suggesting he wouldn't be in his side if it was up to him. The one thing going for us is that apparently Eddie quite likes Fev. I guess we'll all know soon enough.Piesnchess wrote:Anyone heard from Bucks or MM on this ??

This is a risk worth taking. Even when he loses a yard , his contested marking ability will make him still valuable.
Knowing the club we will take the conservative approach , so I won't be surprised when we once again avoid getting an A grader into our club.
Unfortunately it will still annoy and anger me though.

What do you think we could swap to get him? Cloke and first round pick should be enough.
Can the gold coast snare him?

Best possible outcome for Collingwood re Fevola:
Hawks go for him, decide to play Roughead as a defender, and not go in for Burgoyne.
Collingwood does a deal for Burgoyne.
Depending on who we give up, that would be a good outcome for us.
The worst outcome of course is us signing Fev and giving up one of our quality young players. Would be a disaster.

They won't get a lot. Too old, too erratic, not enough teams interested. It's a bit like the Cousins situation.
If it weren't for Judd, I reckon they'd keep him. But don't think Judd, and the player group in general want him back.
To get rid of him they'll have to accept less than they'd like, and continue to pay him. Not a good result. Would have been a hell of a lot better if they'd been smart and traded him a couple of seasons earlier.

Local radio station On the Gold Coast has reported that Eddie Maguire is on the Gold Coast and was seen coming out from Fevs Gold Coast Hideaway earlier today.
