Sounds like it could be on the money if our first round is earmarked for Jolly, 2nd round for Ball and 3rd round for Fev.watt price tully wrote:http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,26169524-2722,00.html
The Australian reports Carlton rejected Collingwoods round 3 pick for the Fev, that Collingwood is Fev's preferred destination!
There may be a bit of bargining after that in terms of fringe players etc.

I haven't read the countless pages in this thread.
However....
Yes we all know Fev's a dill, but Cousins got a second chance after taking illegal substances & people have since forgiven him, why not give Fev that second chance if he's wanting to play on? He hasn't done anything illegal has he?
What do people here think Fev can't/won't change himself for the better?
Personally, I have never liked Fev, mainly because of the fact he wore a Filth jumper, but he is a great kick for goal no denying that.
I just want him at COLL purely for sticking it up those filthy cheats!
Isn't it about time we get one up on these pr!cks?

I don't know about you all, but I reckon this whole Fev situation stinks.
I think the Blues, having suspended a trio of players for turning up 15 minutes late to a training session, have opened themselves to criticism about inconsistency, so they've touted Fev as trade bait.
Until Friday, when they'll announce that no offer was good enough and everyone will kiss and make up and Fev will kick 100 goals for Carlton next year.
I am pretty convinced he ain't going anywhere. And I get the feeling the other clubs are convinced of the same thing, hence the lack of interest. Seriously, the Bulldogs would be utter idiots to not be chasing the reigning Coleman medallist balls-out - instead, they're after an old, broken down, mentally suspect gamble.
Or is it just a coincidence that Carlton are muttering about ruling out Collingwood as a trade destination - you know, Collingwood: one of the few clubs with the financial clout to take on Fev's contract (yes I know they're offering to keep paying part of his salary, I just don't trust those lying scum. Sure, they're going to dump one of their best and most dangerous players, and they're going to PAY a rival to take him. Pffft I see through you, Carlton).
Yeah, sure, Fev's up for trade - to any club who can't afford him, can't trade for him, or doesn't need him.
Yeah, sure Fev's up for trade - as in, if Carlton are offered Nick Riewoldt and pick 7, they might go for it. Otherwise, I suspect Fev ain't going nowhere.
Get Jolly, get Ball. Leave the Blues to their stupid game-playing.
[The ONLY way I could see them being serious is if Judd has actually demanded the trade - but I'm not sure I believe that, either. Although it's entirely justified - Fev crossed a line with Judd, that's for sure. A man with less class than his captain would have taught him a lesson in cranial percussion.]
