I agree - I think Voss has not waited but got the deals done that they wanted to do.
They can now sit back and watch.
They may also get X. CLark from the Saints as well and that may ease their salary cap pressure and allow them to keep Ball and Lovett.

Coaches give you direction but skills win you matches.

Cant understand Carltons thinking if this goes through.
They gain:
31 yr old FF to add to Betts, Fisher, Gartlett. Wow that somehow just got worse.
Brock McLean, Michael Rischetelli to an already gun midfield that boasts Simpson, Gibbs, Judd, Murphy ect.
They lose:
Pick 11. This means they dont get the opportunity to get the best or second best forward in the draft to bolster the lean line up.
Fevola. The best FF in the league lol

me neither. Surely they would prefer a pick + a player like Dawes who is young and can be turned into anything.ad4eva wrote:Cant understand Carltons thinking if this goes through.

I enjoyed this off big footy...
Our trading strategies are majorly ****ed. Go jump of a cliff Icke & Swann - you've done nothing since the Judd deal and if Masten/Kennedy take the next step even that one will be a mistake. Brisbane end up with Fevola, Staker, Buchannan and Raines while giving away practically nothing. Meanwhile we trade our 1st rounder for a podder who Melbourne couldnt wait to give up and Fevola for yet another fringe midfielder and a player who will not be a part of our next flag (which is now at least 5 years away).

Bradshaw and Rischatelli for Fevola
If the above trade goes through, who do you think would be the winner?
Not sure why Brisbane would do this to be honest. Pretty ordinary for Carlton though, an ageing forward and a servicable midfielder.
is that really the best they can do?
