^ Is the length of this thread a record for Nicks. ?

Nah, think the Didak/Heater one went 100+. Didn't it?

I say we trump the deal. If we offer younger player and pick 30, we can get it done.

There's no doubt we COULD trump this deal easily enough, but the facts are that only Eddie has expressed any interest in Fev. The Board appears to be divided therefore we don't really want him.

A big proportion of members would not want him either. I'm not sure that Lexus or Emirates would feel too comfortable either.

All up too risky for Collingwood. If Cousins was considered a drug risk and therefore not a good fit, then Fev would have to be an even worse fit.

Can we please concentrate on good footballers with brains, courage and committment? Luke Ball for instance?
After the epic draw comes the decisive knockout!
Collingwood rules the world again and Mick Malthouse fulfils his destiny with the twenty ten premiership and can you hear the people sing!

No doubt I want Ball. I think it will be done. Now that Jolly has been done. Ball should be easier.

I believe Fev will make us a better side. Therefore I want him in our side, if the cost is right. IMO the cost of Bradshaw and Rista is cheap. I think we should trump it. The upside is massive at that cost.

But CFC's silence seems to indicate that they're done looking at Fev.

Agreed - imagine Jolly to Ball to Cloke = Behind

Jolly to Ball to Fev = GOAL

Pick 30 and Trav - do it!

^ Nup. Wouldn't even do a straight swap for cloke. Cloke is undervalued by many fans. Still very young and has plenty upside. I think Cloke has had a 2nd year type blues.

PLus if we trade in Fev, means we're going for a flag over the next two years. Cloke is intergral to that team structure.

However Dawes and Reid are another 2-4 years away from being consistant big guys.

Therefore Pick 30 plus Dawes or Reid.

But the realistic outcome will be no Fev to Pies.

Not gonna happen, and I still firmly believe we'll be far better off without him. The -ves far outweigh the +ves.
