Just Gimme Some Truth
I don't have many heroes any more ... I don't really believe in them. But I had a hero once. Unfortunately, he got gunned down in cold blood by some f*cking lunatic outside his home in New York 20 years ago. I'm feeling kinda sad about that right now.
So, here's a short burst from one of his greatest songs.
"I'm sick and tired of hearing things
From uptight, short-sighted, narrow-minded hypocrites
All I want is the truth
Just gimme some truth
I've had enough of reading things
By neurotic, psychotic, pig-headed politicians
All I want is the truth
Just gimme some truth
No short-haired, yellow-bellied, son of tricky dicky
Is gonna mother hubbard soft soap me
With just a pocketful of hope
Money for dope
Money for rope"
R.I.P. John Lennon.

I cried for ages when my hero died.
Cobain is not a hero. He is(was) a coward. Heroes doe not suicide.
As for a link to the BB, try this as a message for all Pie fans (apologoes to John Winston Ono Lennon, aka Dr Winston O'Boogie).
"Hold on, world
"World, hold on
"It's gonna be alright
"We're gonna win the fight"

Spidey - I really love (most) of his songwriting & the performances he gave were spell-binding. Just don't put him in the same class as someone who had life ripped away from them versus someone who chose to abandon this world - particularly leaving a young child.
Hey Alf - here's the message from one of the great man's lesser songs:
Love is the answer
You know that for sure
You gotta LIVE
You gotta let it grow

Lennon had that magic ability of writing himself into his lyrics. He was so screwed up and had so many facets to his make-up that there's something in there for everybody. There's nobody I know who knows Lennon's music who doesn't strongly personally identify with something that he's written.
'Watching the Wheels' (my theme) and 'Crippled Inside' are mine.

Cobain was mental. To marry someone like he did that is psycho enough! Courtney Love! hahahhaha god! You can't get any better!
Anyway Spidey, how was the city da other day? I was gonna come in with you and mags but my dad was to gay and said "YOU DON't EVEN KNOW THEM!" Anyway it's past now. Anyway better get on with this topic. Lennon died 20 years back right? Well does that mean everybody needs to think about him exactly 20 years after he died. We forget about him for the other 19 and when the big 20 comes up we say "Remember Lennon died 20 years ago, I forget all about him!"

MIKE: "Look at Me", "Oh My Love" and "Bless You" do it for me.
RHAIN: I wear a black armband on December 8 EVERY YEAR.
SPIDEY: What are you on about? Lennon went through far more stress from his fame, drug addiction, an absent father, a mother who abandoned him at birth who he then reconnected with at 16 for about 4 months then she was run over by a bus. As Mike pointed out, he was a screwed up individual who was ata times abusive and suffered from different forms of substance abuse, but he managed to channel his energies into his music and devote 5 years of his life solely to raising his 2nd child (Sean).

Spidey, I have my opinion. If you are on heavy drugs like them well you would be a WANKER. I am not a wanker if I share my opinion! Plus If I did come into the city what is the difference.
That was before I wrote this message wasn't it?
You are blue and I am red lol
Sorry but you can't always agree with other people
