Ball In Our Court

Post by Mr_Plow »

sorry i just couldn't resist that title but i read in the paper this morn that Micky is trying to get Jason Ball to Collingwood.

I guess like every trade it depends on what we'd give up to get him, but i think it would be a mistake.

This guy has been given a really good run at west coast and proven that hes really just an average player.

I would rather we concentrated our trading on Leigh Colbert and Peter Everitt if the asints will give him up.

Ball would be valuable (Lack of Talls) but I do agree he is not worth a high draft pick.

Ball would only be a replacement for Mark Richardson and therefore only worth a low ;evel trade or draft pick.

hmmm i hope he or his sister doesn't read this forum, cause she at least will recognise my nickname, but yes he has been average at west coast. He in most cases lacks confidence, especially when it comes to kicking goals. It's a shame he hasn't got it sorted confidence wise cause he could be another Corey Mckernan if he did (tho at 27 he prob has already missed the boat).
