2010 Player Sponsorship - organiser wanted?

Post by MargOZ »

Hi All

Just a note to let you know that I have received the 2010 Player Sponsorship pack from the Club but I would like to take a break from running it this year.

If anyone else would like to take the role on of organising the 2010 NBB Sponsorship just send me a PM with your email address and I will forward you the relevant info.

Thanks,
Marg

Fair enough Marg, you've done a great job and it's been really appreciated.

Can I suggest you put this on the main board, even as a sticky and reference back to this thread?. Someone like David or JMCP might be interested.

Thanks for the thanks!!! :)

Unfortunately I'm going to be really snowed under with work this year, my role is changing but there will be a period of time (probably most of the year actually!) where I'm almost doing two jobs at once! Fun, fun, fun (NOT!!!). So I just don't think I can give the sponsorship enough of my time this year - having said that, I will still contribute and be a part of it all!

I have had one enquiry, will post more details once someone has confirmed they are happy to take over the reigns! :)

Of course it is a actually a big job managing it all with so many people involved, so if there's more than one person that would like to help run it, then any extra help is more than welcome.

GO PIES!

Marg, although I haven't been part of the Nick's Sponsorship (and helping you run it) for a few years now, you have done an incredible job over the past 6 or so years, starting with Luke Shackleton back in 2004, then our Captain Nick Maxwell in 2005 and 2006, Jack Anthony 2007, 2008 and Brent Macaffer in 2009

So as a member of Nick's BB I thank you for your commitment and the great work you've done in organising the Nick's BB Sponsorship.

thank you for thinking of me stui.

i'm in the midst of returning to oz - still in the shaky isles - and my immediate priority will be getting work [closely followed by watching some tennis and cricket, going to preseason training, getting on my road bike and getting a tan].

marg - firstly, thanks for your efforts doing this in previous years and secondly, can you pls advise what needs to be done [and when] so i can mull it over.

no promises.

I have spoken to Marg and offered to take over for this year, if everyone is happy enough with that?

That's great Mel. I'm sure you'll do a good job.

Also, thanks Marg for your contribution. You did a wonderful job collecting monies and issuing certificates etc.

Yep. Good work Marg. I haven't been part of it the last year or two, but I recognise the hard work you have done it organising anything. Thanks.
